HIATUS?

It's been a long time since I've come onto this space to bring forth my favourite findings. To be honest, I've been infested by the lazy bug. But fear not, I will put in my soul entirely now to try do something. Also, will most likely giving this space a good ol' spruce up, nothing major but just enough to get myself going, hoping this may be a journey to document my interests and observation of the world.

ANAL DETAILED WORK

A familiar sight yet somewhat unfamiliar, prop stylist and set designer Marsha Golemac reminds me of instagram feeds that I see daily. How many of us are guilty to have purposefully set up / stage up our images before meals or during random times of the day? I won't deny, I am defintely one of those who takes 3 minutes to set up something, take 10 over shots and then narrow down to 1 to edit with effects.

I'd say, thanks to social media, I've become more experimental with the things I do despite the random attitude things take; random can therefore actually be good ways to generate great ideas! Never stop being random, that's what I'll say. Just like my random move to give this site a little spruce. Have a great week ahead!

FOOD!

 Roasted Corn on the Cob

I love how food photography these days look so artistically composed. Something that I can hang up in one of my dream homes (loft most preferrably)! Talking all this is getting me giddy, I really can't wait to have a house I can call my own with my beloved (one fine day). I may be a fashion communication student, but my key interest in fashion may have slowly fade away. Fashion photography ain't quite half my forte either to be honest. I have a fear with the 'human face'; be it to capture it through illustrations or photography. I have always preferred to choose an object of the non-living and non-human. I'm going off track arn't I?
Call me Cupcake is whats behind with this scrumptious corn. This interesting lit photograph gives food photography a little twist. It also bring key focus to the 'object', quite the beauty of a corn I must say... beautiful and making me hungry for some. To get the recipe for this yummy looking corn, click on the link below!

INTERIOR DESIGN

NEW YORK LOFT;
Inez and Vinoodh Bohemian NY Loft. This gorgeous loft plays with a lot of textures that has visually excite me. Especially the 'explosion' of wood. I like wood. I really do. It makes a house feel real cosy. Pardon me, there's not much nice wood furnitures one can own in Singapore. It's also not like a fraction of men in Singapore would know carpentry either. These floor to ceilng built in wood shelves, door frames and bed frames plays perfectly well in contrast to the steel windows. Despite the absence of curtains for some privacy, I'd take this house any time any day. ... ... if I've got the cash for it. Do wish there'd be more of these kinds available in Singapore. I'll make it my mission to bring this to life one day.

 State Street Townhouse
Lately I've got this thing for looking at houses, more specifically lofts and barn house looking ones. Most definitely be delightful to build my dream house from the ground up and have my own creative input from the floor tiles and furnitures to the entire color coordination for specific rooms. ... and have multiple dream house. That way I will have one that's child friendly, and have one that is magnificantly gorgeous and impractical (bachelorette-esque lifestyle). Just .. hopefully one day I get to do so, I've got to make sure I do so.
